Our metalseated ball valve product line was born in 1986, as a result of a partnership with Engineered Valves International. Through this partnership we developed many sophisticated designs, including batch digester capping valves and coker valves, which are still industry leaders today. In 1997, Velan acquired Securamax, a metal-seated ball valve manufacturer specializing in custom engineered valves for severe service applications. Today, Velan offers a complete range of high performance metal-seated ball valves, engineered to handle the most demanding applications – The Securaseal Line.
